A registered nurse who comes to the door.
Medication management, chronic condition monitoring, wound care and foot care — delivered at home in Edmonton, on a schedule you can count on.
Care in English, Punjabi or Hindi.
For families
Your parent needs nursing care, but not a nursing home. A registered nurse visits on a regular schedule, so medications are taken, conditions are watched, and someone qualified is keeping track.

Residences without in-house nursing can offer residents skilled care without adding clinical staff. Our lead nurse has held charge responsibility for up to 75 residents in Edmonton continuing care.

Who you're letting in
Care at home only works if you trust the person doing it. Our lead nurse, Jasandeep Dhanoa, is a registered nurse with five years of clinical experience in Edmonton. She sets the standard of care here, and she carries out visits herself.
Most of her work has been with older adults. At LeeCaring Communities and Northcott Care Centre she worked as charge nurse in continuing care, responsible for up to 75 residents at a time — medications, wound care, catheters and feeding tubes, palliative support, and residents living with dementia and delirium. She also works in primary care at an Edmonton medical centre, handling chronic disease management, immunizations, diabetic foot care and minor procedures.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta. Care is available in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
In continuing care, the hardest conversation was always the same one. A family would be told their mother needed more help than they could manage at home — when what she actually needed was a nurse for two hours a week. I started VestaCare so Edmonton families have that option before they are forced into a harder one. Jasandeep Dhanoa, RN — Lead Nurse
Continuity is the point. You'll know who is coming, they'll know your parent's history, and you won't be handed a different face every week.

How a visit works
-
A call, at a time that suits you
Pick a slot that works and tell us what's going on. We'll say plainly whether this is something we can help with, and what it would cost.
-
A first assessment
We come out, meet your parent, review medications and conditions, and agree on a visit schedule that fits.
-
Regular visits
Same nurse, set schedule. You get an update after each visit, and we flag anything that needs a doctor's attention.
About paying for this
Visits are billed privately — there's no waiting list and no eligibility process. Many extended health plans reimburse registered nurse services, so every invoice we send includes the nursing registration details insurers ask for. Nursing costs may also qualify for the Medical Expense Tax Credit; your accountant can confirm.
For care communities
If your residence doesn't have nursing staff on site, residents who develop a clinical need often have to move. We can take on that care instead — medication administration, wound care, monitoring — as a vendor working alongside your team.
Our lead nurse has held charge nurse responsibility for up to 75 residents in Edmonton continuing care, so we already know how a building like yours runs, what your care staff can and can't take on, and how to work with your team rather than around it. Care is available in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
We arrive with insurance certificates, vulnerable sector checks and WCB registration ready for your file, and we can name your residence as additional insured. Every nurse we send meets the same standard.
